From their origins of gigging every monday at a local pub, Flogging Molly has earned a loyal following and continues to win new fans with every appearance and live show. The band has toured on their own and with other fellow musicians including a co-headlining tour with The INterrupters with supporting appearances by Tiger Army and The Skints.

But their first concerts began in 1998, one year after the band formed. Like most bands starting out, Flogging Molly didn’t have too many concert dates in their early days. With Flogging Molly, they only had 26 concerts between 1998 – 2000, with most of those in the year 2000. Things wicked up for the band soon after with nearly 400 concerts played between 2001-2005. And this includes their work on 2005’s Antidote tour which saw many concert dates in US venues including the Rose Garden in California.

The later half of the 2000s was also busy for Flogging Molly, as the band seemed to add even more annual concert dates to their schedule. In fact, their average from 2006-2010 nearly doubled to 90+ concerts per year! Flogging Molly was on fire and that energy carried them into the 2010s where they played no less than 60 concerts per year, every year.

But then the Covid-19 Pandemic struck in 2020 and the band had their first low-concert date year with only 7 shows in 2020 and 41 in 2021.

But with the turn of the year, Flogging Molly is back at their former pace, just in time to support their latest album release. 2022 has seen Flogging Molly play and schedule 65 concerts to date. So there’s no telling what 2023 will bring.
